Pratt Institute MSLIS Portfolio
As a library professional, I am committed to critical library praxis reflective of the instructive and productive capacities of academic libraries. Informed by critical pedagogy, the projects in this portfolio reflect my application of critical theory in situating information seekers within contingent digital environments for meaningful dialogic instruction. These projects further illustrate academic libraries capacity as a site of intervention against information financialization through open access practices, promoting open knowledge production for equitable information accessibility. Comprehensive rationales for the inclusion of the projects below can be found here.
